The HD180 split frame clamshell is ideal for large scale cutting and beveling applications ranging from 144" to 177" (3,657.6 mm to 4,495.8 mm) OD. The machine utilizes a patented, fully adjustable bearing design for increased accuracy and performance. The fabricated steel base of the machine is comprised of staggered vertical steel plates interlocked between horizontal steel plates. This stacked base design helps maintain machine rigidity even under the most demanding conditions. The HD180 is comprised of four parts making it ideally configured for deployment and installation.
