There are two date code formats for products manufactured and packaged by Simplex.

Date Code Format 1

The first format consists of a letter representing the current month, followed by two numbers representing the year and finally two numbers representing the week in the year.

For Example, the date code and serial number

J = October

07 = Year 2007

42 = Week number in year

Date Code Format 2

The second date code format consists of a letter representing the design revision level, followed by two numbers representing the week in the year, than two additional numbers for the year and finally a letter(s) designating the manufacturing location. The second product date code started in 2019.

For Example, the date code and serial number

J = Design Revision

07 = Week in the Year

19 = Year 2019

A = Manufacturing Location
